The inverse tower is one of the high element in the obs camp site1. Before the actual climbling of this we were eqiuped with some basic skills like how to belay , how to wear the harness and the "belay call" ... haha. I was buddy up wif wan ying and we r the sec pair to climb up the inverse tower. The one belaying mi was eugene ang and xiong sheng, while the one belaying wan ying was si kai and kok kian. Of coz at first the lower part (smth like a web) is super easy to climb but aft that ... i found myself shivering like hell up there ...but i decided to continue to climb the next part which is a vertical log with some rocks there ... as i go higher ... my buddy line was stucked at one of the rock ... i began to get panic ... but in the end i managed to finish the part two. When i was sitting and hugging the log like a koala bear ... i began to get really scared and decided to giv up ... i was nearly going to cry out as it was very scary for mi. But with the encouage of the belayers, my grp mates and buddy, i somehow wan to go on. Next we need to climb up a no of zigzag log ... it was hard for us as we need to slide ourself up the log before we hold on to another higher log. I tried but i can slide at all (mayb is becoz of the trackpants) ... then its where i n wan ying cooperate well with each other. With the instructions or guides of how to get up by our belayers and teamwork with wan ying ... we managed to get to the top of the element. I feel pround of myself and sense achievement. I nvr think i really can get to the highest pt but in the end i did. I was so happy ... haha ... thanks to the belayers, team mates and of coz wan ying!
